Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 11: Shraddha Kapoor-Rajkummar Rao Film Shines as Second Highest Earner of 2024 with ₹560 Crore Worldwide

Stree 2, starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, is continuing its strong performance at the box office in its second week. After an impressive second Saturday, where the film saw an 88 percent surge and collected ₹33.8 crore, it maintained its upward trend on the second Sunday with a collection of ₹40 crore. According to data from the film’s makers, Stree 2 has grossed ₹560 crore worldwide, with a domestic net collection of ₹402 crore and a gross domestic total of ₹474 crore. The filmmakers celebrated on social media, stating, “Stree 2 continues its historic run by becoming the highest-grossing second weekend ever for a Hindi film! Thank you everyone for making this journey blockbuster and unforgettable.”

Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film has quickly become the second highest-grossing film of 2024, surpassing Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter, which earned ₹337.20 crore worldwide, within just 11 days of its release.

On its second Sunday, Stree 2’s collection is comparable to Kalki 2898 AD, which earned ₹44.35 crore, and slightly ahead of last year’s highest-grossing film, Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, which collected ₹44.05 crore on its second Sunday. Stree 2 is now in close competition with Kalki 2898 AD for the top spot of the year.

By its 11th day of release, Kalki 2898 AD had netted ₹510.05 crore in India, while Stree 2 had earned ₹386.15 crore domestically. Kalki 2898 AD’s worldwide collection stands at ₹1,041.65 crore.

On Sunday, Stree 2 recorded an overall Hindi occupancy of 63.69 percent, with the highest occupancy of over 70 percent during afternoon shows. The film had 1,244 shows in the NCR region, achieving a 72 percent occupancy, and 1,150 shows in Mumbai with a 61.75 percent occupancy. In Bengaluru, despite having only 401 shows, the film had a notable 64.35 percent occupancy.
