Pune: Dhanuka Agritech Limited, a prominent agrochemical company, has unveiled a new herbicide named ‘Tizom’ to assist sugarcane farmers in controlling weeds and enhancing the profitability of their sugarcane cultivation. Developed in collaboration with Nissan Chemical Corporation, Japan, ‘Tizom’ is a groundbreaking herbicide with unique composition and properties poised to transform weed management in sugarcane farming.

This innovative herbicide comprises two key active ingredients, Halosulfuron Methy l6% and Metribuzin 50% WG, offering an effective solution for managing a wide range of weeds, including narrow leaf weeds, broadleaf weeds, and Cyperus rotundus. As a result, it plays a pivotal role in boosting sugarcane crop productivity.
Rahul Dhanuka, Joint Managing Director of Dhanuka Agritech Limited, commented on the introduction of ‘Tizom,’ stating, “Tizom will further bolster our robust sugarcane product portfolio and prove immensely beneficial to sugarcane farmers. ‘Tizom’ is notable for its ability to target and eliminate weeds while safeguarding sugarcane crops from harm. Additionally, it offers long-lasting weed control, providing farmers with an extended weed-free environment.
